Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2019

Definitely picking up baking spice and vanilla on the nose with toasted almonds. Light oiliness. Initial taste is dried cherries with brown sugar and a bit of spice to let you know it's proof. But a solid smooth pour imo.

Nose brown sugar, herbal, caramel, leather. Taste starts a bit hot at noon if you haven't eaten lunch yet. Molasses, oak, tobacco, and a bit of a wet forest floor. If this is your first of the day then expect a tingly mouth feel. Tasty

From bday night. Loved the aftertaste, smooth.

N- sugar- vanilla / Carmel- cre brûlée- light floral & fruit P- F- sweet vanilla- oak- pepper- citrus- low warm burn - lots of vanilla and wood 10 seconds later. Fantastic
