Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon

My favorite so far of my bourbon infancy. Hot but flavorful with a bubblegum sweetness and herbal sort of finish that balances much better than that sounds.

Well rounded and lovely sweetness, so far my favorite bourbon sub $25. All the notes are right. Easy and interesting at the same time

Really solid. Really good, not great, taste and a slight burn, but overall a great value bourbon.

On the nose: Fresh pine and smoky auroras On the palate: Pine nuts and heavy mint! The finish: A little weak, but a hint of spearmint. Overall: the flavor is a little one-dimensional, but it is a good flavor. Very forestry-inspired (hence the name!). Plus it’s pretty smooth!
