In the nose, this pour begins with a solid butterscotch, vanilla oakiness and some sort of citrusy fruit note, and ground black peppercorn. Upon tasting, the initial flavors are a sweetness, transitioning to pepper spice, caramel, vanilla, a notable salty caramel, more pepper, maybe green with a touch of astringency, then finishing in butterscotch. An excellent value and complex pour. Moderately long length and high proof do not disappoint. A solid go to for an everyday pour.
