Old Forester Statesman

Nose is nutty and sweet with alcohol and a little bit of sour but not a bad sour. but nose isn’t coming through strong. Taste are vanilla and plenty of Smokey oak. Finished with little to no heat but is a little sour. Taste doesn’t go away immediately but doesn’t linger to long.

Subtle but complex nose. I get deep wood and maybe some nuts? Like peanuts maybe. The body is pretty thin but the flavors are oak and spice, and I love now they linger together. Tail is longer than I'd expect from the body. Nothing mind-blowing but great flavors for the price.
