Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon

A sniff of this bourbon will consume your nose in a pleasant way. I smelled a sweet hint of citrus with every inhale. Taken neat, it is strong on the middle of the tongue but surprisingly smooth going down. The taste lingers in a delicate manner, moving from the middle of the tongue to the sides. A bit of water brings out the flavor and this is a great go to on the rocks. If you do not like a sweeter whiskey, this may not be for you.

Very nice for the price. There's little heat in the throat with this one. Tastes better if it is allowed to breathe a bit after pouring. Makes a good Manhattan.
