Reviewed March 26, 2023 (edited March 29, 2023)Bold. Not overly complex. Soft on the palate. Classic bourbon flavors. Dark red fruit - cherries, sweet, some oak, baking spice, cloves. Taste like cherry coke at first sip. First sip is pretty mind blowing, but chasing the dragon isnt yielding much after.80.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed January 28, 2023 (edited October 26, 2024)First off, this looks great. I recognize that appearance doesn’t vary all that much, and doesn’t really figure, but I thought it should be said that for whatever reason it strikes me. In other news… on the nose I get lots of oak and cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, avocado oil, toasted caramel, charcoal, sweet glazed pork, and corn. Sweet and fruity on the palate, and very smooth. Oak, caramel apple, cinnamon sweet corn, powdered sugar, black pepper, cherry and cake. There is a lot about this that’s really good, including a really enjoyable flavor profile. The minus marks are from a mid and late palate thinness and a very short finish. Starts over 4 but fades. It’s definitely soft for barrel proof. Second visit 1/31/23. Getting maple syrup and butterscotch all over and clove on the palate. I do get more finish, and a tasty one at that, but it’s still short. Bumping it up a bit, but not dramatically. All that said. I quite like it.
