"The nose on this whiskey is subtle. The American oak has mellowed and tamed any harsh elements present in the base whiskey, though hasn’t added much to speak of, except perhaps some faint vanilla. It’s light in body, with a medium finish of mild spices. A simple, light, and relatively unique product with some decent cocktail potential. "
