Reviewed October 5, 2024Goddess Cascadian giveth and taketh away. At first, I received the gift of saliva in my mouth, and then my mouth was transported to the Sahara Desert, searching for that fleeting oasis of saliva I just departed. -

Reviewed August 26, 2021Pretty neutral with piney aroma. Tastes of neutral grain with slight pine and a touch of sweetness. Fairly easy going down with medium consistency. Not much to it, but it’s clean and the subtle flavors round it out pretty nicely. -

Reviewed May 14, 2021Despite being a wheat vodka this has one of the most peculiar smells of any vodka I've ever reviewed. It straight up smells like fresh, almost pine-y mineral water. I almost feel like if I got lost in the woods of the Pacific Coast and found a flask on the ground it would have this smell. It's quite nice actually! It tastes like a splendid mix of mineral water, nice, mild wheat sweetness and just a hint of of pine needles. As far as vodkas go this is actually extremely neutral with all the aforementioned flavors and scents being more like background decorations for you to pick out than any specific, defining characteristics. But I love the neutrality because it makes all of the subtleties feel natural and paradoxically give this vodka quite a woodsy, outdoorsy character. I wouldn't mind taking this out on a hike whatsoever! Texture wise it's a nice balance between oily and watery with the consistency you'd expect of a light wheat vodka. The alcohol burn is kept to a minimum making this an easy vodka to sip neat but it's more pine and mineral qualities just beg for it to be put in tonic water or quality mineral water. An absolute delight, I strongly recommend getting your hands on this Pacific Vodka. -

Reviewed July 23, 2020Yep, it still tastes like not much. Some alcohol, pepper, and sweetness. Not great, but not bad. I certainly wouldn't increase my rating on this one. This is a boring conclusion, but I'm maintaining my original rating.25.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 23, 2020 (edited May 15, 2021)Following New Amsterdam 100, this is smooth with a delightful spring water flavor. And now I'm seeing that bottle advertising that it was made with cascade mountain water. Well, I guess that makes sense then. It's hard to object to this: it's a very neutral vodka. There isn't much to love about it either. I like more personality in my vodka. Specifically, I like it best twice distilled from malted barley and aged for 25 years in sherry hogsheads, so I'm probably not the best one to appreciate a neutral vodka like this one. But I like it well enough. I might bump it up a tick, but I think my original rating was pretty accurate.25.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 22, 2020It smells like nothing. The palate is clean and it's a smooth vodka with pepper coming out on the finish. It doesn't have the grainy richness of Chopin Wheat, but it does have that neutral wheat character. I don't like this as much as Chopin Wheat, but it's pretty good. It's mostly neutral, but it's also a little sweet and a tad mineral. It's like a mix of spring water and sugar water with a peppery element. It isn't as smooth as Chopin Wheat either. I'd put it around the level of Tobaritch, though its actual character is quite different. The alcohol does make itself known a little bit. I think it's not quite as good as Tobaritch.25.0 USD per Bottle
