Oregon Spirit Straight American Rye

Slightly sweet and more approachable than most ryes I've had.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Light ocher with sunset notes, legs are medium thick on the sides; 👃: Lively young rye notes, slight plastic scent, apple pie, bing cherries, candle wax, ethanol burning my nose; 👅: Oily mouth feel, waxy aftertaste, apples and pears, baking spices abound; 🏁: Long finish that doesn't dissipate, that wax taste starts and stays on, average rye.

Semi sweet and spiced smell. First taste, you can feel some depth. Smooth and not so spicy. Little oaky and oily. Some fruitiness. A lot of notes and for me that separates this from most run of the mill ryes. Very very good. Impressed.

Don't purchase again.

Dank or musty. Don’t love it but don’t hate it 😏
