Oregon Spirit Straight American Wheat Whiskey

Nose: Sweet, Vanilla and Maple Syrup Palate: wood upfront, transitions to sweet combination as if Vanilla,caramel and maple syrup was all combined. Notes: I think its decent, I wont be buying it again but I enjoyed the journey. Update: bumping it up higher as I keep coming back to it.

I was underwhelmed by the taste, but maybe got my hopes high due to all of the praise this bottle has gotten. I didn't think it tasted a whole lot different than something like Makers Mark. I do like the distillery and that it's from Bend, Oregon.

Strong and wheaty. Very unique.

Very pleasant sipper. Though it’s 50% ABV, I don’t think it would be very good in cocktails because though there are multiple, pleasant flavors, I think the flavors would get overshadowed in a cocktail. The flavors are subtle and sweet, carmel, vanilla, maple syrup. Definitely a different flavor profile than I’ve tasted. I expected the flavor would be similar to a wheated burboun and it’s not. If you are looking for something with a different flavor profile at a very reasonable price, Oregon Wheated Whiskey fits the bill.
