Tasting Notes
"This is a vodka that has been transformed deeply from its original state that it’s hardly recognizable as a vodka at all. It pours an attractive golden color with amber highlights. The nose is stacked with a stable of flavors from vanilla custard, wild flowers, charred oak, to baklava. Their voices never quite make out a harmony, but there is certainly a lot there. The palate is rich and vicious with the honey and vanilla driving the sweetness factor, and the bourbon barrels picking up with a spicy, grain quality. This is a big and complex spirit, but it seems to be having an identity crisis. Tasty enough on its own but may be a bit too outré for almost any classic vodka cocktail."
