Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum

My introduction to rum at Hemingway Distillery. Sweet, vanilla, tropical. Always a favorite

Very smooth, sweet, vanilla.

I mixed this with fresh pineapple and orange juice with just a hit of lemon. This makes an excellent mixer for a tropical inspired punch. On its own its a bit underwhelming, but that can be forgiven for the pricepoint.

Tastes very astringenty and alcoholy right of the the bat , then finishes with a light tropical fruit and floral flavor. If you can get past the initial overwhelming alcohol taste it is really good.
