Tasting Notes
"In the glass, the rum is moderately dark for its age. Nosing it yields vanilla and charred oak. The initial palate is noticeably dry, and there’s very little in the way of fruit. Midway through, a tiny hint of oiliness makes its presence known. The finish is not particularly long and is slightly ragged. In typical Spanish style, this rum’s flavor is dominated by barrel-induced elements. This is not a particularly complex rum for a somewhat premium price."
