Reviewed May 25, 2026A rich, Agave Spirit by Casa Don Roberto NOM 1437 founded by Don Roberto Orendain in 1840. It is made with estate grown agave & volcanic spring water using a secret family recipe. The agave is slow roasted in earthen ovens & aged for a minimum of 12 months in white oak barrels before being bottled at 42% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of roasted agave, fruits, wood, nuts & spices; while a rich life adds notes of peanuts, pepper, citrus & chocolate; that led to a long & complex death with notes of coconut & almond cream. -
