This bottling from Penderyn was produced in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Women Who Whiskey, a global women's networking & educational organization which celebrated the milestone in 2021. Made by Penderyn's all-female distilling and blending team in Wales, it was aged initially in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Then the single malt was finished in oak barriques that formerly held Madeira wine.
It was bottled at 86 proof without chill-filtration or added color. Launched in February 2022, just 3000 bottles are available in the US. .

Tasting Notes
"The aroma of the whisky is bright and inviting with cooked pears, vanilla, and toasted almonds. There's a touch of honey as well. On the palate the whisky is soft and bittersweet. Some toasted oak and more pears shows up on the palate along with some prunes. The acidity in the dram helps to take it out of dessert territory, but the fruity notes make it a perfect pre or post dinner dram. Perhaps with some cheese. "
