Overpowering oak on the back .

Very nice balance with no bite. Mostly carmel and vanilla.

Nose: butterscotch, oak, caramel. Palate: mild barrel tannins, vanilla, caramel. Overall: the nose was much more impressive than the palate, and was a litttle underwhelmed with the taste. Still a good whiskey, but would not purchase again.
