Penelope Architect Build No. 4

Nose: sweet, vanilla bean Palate: very oaky, but in a good way, balanced Finish: warm Overall: great pour, very unique flavor as its very oaky and sweet but not off putting

This was solid, balanced. Assuming the most recent Build as I never checked specifically (104 Proof). Good vanilla intertwined with cherry, walnut, vanilla, and floral spice.

Simply put, this is Maker's Mark 46 but done even better. It's creamy, it's sweet, it's oaky, it's wonderful. The nose gives me something that reminds me of like... Almost slightly beef jerky-ish? before the oak takes over. Very interesting, but I like it a lot. If there's any part of you that enjoys oak in your bourbon, do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately. It's great.

Tastes young with some rubbery cinnamon. I was expecting more from this as my first Penelope bottle. I should have chosen the barrel proof four grain or toasted
