Tastes

A pleasure to finally try. Didn’t check the vintsge, but presumably 2023. The balance and evidence of quality was nuts; mildly spiced, with loads of caramel, vanilla, and oak barrel. It rides a great line between beautiful integration and overbearing influence. Undertones of toasted marshmallow and toffee allow for further layering to really highlight this as being worthy of the hype.

This was an abaolute beast. Oaky, toasted marshmallows on the nose. The u oresuming sweetness from the nose leaves zero preparation for the palate; agressive, barrel-forward. Undertones of burnt caramel and dark frjuit. HUGE barrel hear but yet stikk alarmingly approachable. Unreal.

Vanilla, oak staves, tobacco on the nose. Palate spiced and smooth, with undertones of boot leather and cardamon. On the finish theres a bit of lingering honey sweetness. Such a good rye whiskey.

Solid drinker, and pretty smooth for such a high proof. Lots of baking spice and oak, with subtle vanilla sweetness.

Great uncut barrel strength bourbon. Maple & vanilla sweetness. Toasty barrel and a warm, mildly spiced finish.

This was solid, balanced. Assuming the most recent Build as I never checked specifically (104 Proof). Good vanilla intertwined with cherry, walnut, vanilla, and floral spice.

Char: 5 Toast: Heavy Proof: 100 This was a huge hit; honestly found myself reminded a little of ER17. Subtle smoke, great marshmallow. Hints of cherry round it out nicely.

Existing tags are spot on here. A very light, approachable bourbon. Sweet, with vanilla and a restrained oakiness. Zero burn going down. Great for those just getting into the bourbon game.

It’s not a bad bourbon at its price point. Could be smoother, good spiced component with prominent barrel. Not very complex, but a solid shelf-available whiskey.
