Penelope Toasted Barrel Strength Bourbon

Just amazing

This is the best-tasting bourbon I’ve ever had. Had at Lee’s with Augy, Maggie, McKinley, and Stryker on a Wednesday burger night

Great flavor, good finish. A little spicey on the tongue, but no burn. It must be a lightly toasted barrel, because I didn't notice much of a difference between Barrel Strength and this toasted version.

Really good. The oakiness comes thru in a nice way. Sweet and creamy throughout. Definitely get the smoky/char flavors, followed by nice dark fruit flavors.

Char: 5 Toast: Heavy Proof: 100 This was a huge hit; honestly found myself reminded a little of ER17. Subtle smoke, great marshmallow. Hints of cherry round it out nicely.

Nose of cinnamon, oak, spice, and a hint of vanilla. Taste matches, a lot of interesting spices with cinnamon on the front and I get some very oaky almost BBQ flavored notes. Sweet as well but moves into the spice and a bit of heat, more than Id expect from 100 proof. Medium finish.
