Tastes of water with some alcohol mixed in

Had at a friend’s. I was too drunk to give a proper review but I know it was just alright. I really want to find some of their others.

Love the lightness of this bourbon. Great flavor profile. Works amazingly well in sours and old fashioned cocktails. Try out their NY Sour recipe on the website using a fruity red wine like Malbec or Zin. I've grown tired of bourbons, but this renewed my interest.

Nose: sweet and fruity. Not too robust/complex. Taste: the sweetness comes through… just as the nose, it’s not a lot. There’s a bit of ethanol bite, like it’s a little too young for this to be a great sip. Palate: thin and warm, sweetness carries all the way. Overall: I could drink this every day without disappointment. It’s nice, not great and reminds me of a younger version of eagle rare.

Nose: Corn, caramel, oak Palate: Fruit, syrup, cherry, vanilla Finish: Caramel, fruit, vanilla A decent bourbon, but could do with a slightly higher proof 5.5/10

Very light, very sweet, would make an old fashioned a lot sweeter. Drinking it neat and is still light drink. Over all 3.0

Light bodied, smooth and sweet, some nutty and vanilla flavors, get a hint of light florals too. Leaves you wanting more, likely because it is 80 proof. A good “introduction to bourbon” and a good nightly neat drink. The downside, much like the Basil Hayden, is that the good parts of the taste don’t last long so it a little underwhelming.
