Plantation 3 Stars White Rum

Smell of strong banana, light citrus and vanilla. Taste matches the nose, with the addition of a sweet spice. Almost baking spice with raw sugar.

Sweet and fruity, great and versatile mixer.

The 3.5 was a bit of a gamble after first tasting, but after re-tasting after a couple of months it is soft, sweet, coconut and could mistake it for a dark(er) rum.

Really solid, nice complexity for being a white rum with the blending. Will make a great mixer, too

Wow, the lead Distiller tasting review for this is spot on! Banana and sugar on the nose; banana, passion fruit, sugar and vanilla, and some funky grassiness on the pallet; floral and vanilla finish. Medium viscosity for good mouthfeel. Light light yellow color. Easy to drink straight, a joy to mix. This has become my go-to light rum mixing choice. Makes a good Canchanchara substitute for Cuban light rum.
