Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum

Awesome!! Sweet cherry Rum … drink straight!

Amazing taste!

Nose: 80 proof bourbon strong with hints of light sweet brown sugar. Pallet: Raw flavors of vanilla and caramel which is likely molasses. Finish: The pallet follows through with a dryness. The only issue with the dryness is you want another sip! This is differently more of a premium rum and is made to be enjoyed neat or with a cube. You can tell that this has been aged for years. Moving into the summer season and your looking to move from bourbon to something a little more sweet this is what you need. The longer this breathes the more flavor it gets. Another excellent recommendation is the Plantation Pineapple Run (makes excellent summer cocktails).

Nose: Sweet like simple syrup Pallet: There’s a tropical spice with sweet banana undertones. Leaves your pallet dry. Finish: Initial traditional run flavor and heat. I’m not a traditional run drinker but this is pretty good for being on the sweet side. I’ll have to pick up a couple more premium sipping bottles to compare them. This is going to be an enjoyable sipper during the summer.
