Plymouth Gin

I had a chance to try this wonderful London Dry Gin and it was just what I like in Gin. It is smooth and easy drinking as well as no black pepper finish. It has a mild juniper and citrus nose and it is not harsh sipping neat. The finish is soft with a little citrus but is very nice. It makes a great Gin and Tonic even with cheap tonic water and with good tonic water it is out of this world. If you make a Gimlet like the one above it is also wonderful. I am looking forward to trying this in a Martini as well. I have nothing bad to say about this gin. I am also looking forward to trying the navy strength version of this. I found this at less than $20 and at that price it is an absolute steal and if you are a gin drinker you really should try this.

More juniper on the nose than taste. Smooth and easy to sip. Lots of citrus-orange, lemon, grapefruit. Cardamom is also a major player. Slight alcohol burn.
