"The nose hits you with sweet corn, toasted vanilla -- but not like a rich bourbon nose, it's milder than that. The taste is simple and straightforward, bittersweet and lacking depth of flavor. The body is average and the sherry finished malt is difficult to find. But this is more like a session whiskey than a sip and savor one. Serve with a pint of lager and you'll be fine. "
