Noses with caramel and sweetness, palate contrasts a mellow oak with sweet shortbread cookie, smooth and light, leaves a bitter oak aftertaste that I suppose happens with a young whiskey.
Not bad, but it’s got a very simple profile.
Nose - oaky spice at first which is strange for an Irish whisky, then some vanilla and honey comes through
Taste - caramel and vanilla primarily, then the barrel spice takes over
Finish - light oak spice, thin and fades rapidly leaving a mellow burn
