Pusser's Rum 15 Year (DISCONTINUED)

Herbal and a little harsh.

Sweetness, light spices, dark fruit and had a long finish. I treasured my bottle! The new version is shit IMO just stick with the Blue label

Glad I replaced this bottle last year, as it’s been discontinued. Super rich and velvety texture with caramel, coffee, oak, tropical fruit notes. Much more refined than blue label or gunpowder proof which means this is for the glencairn only. Im tempted to try the new 15 year but reviews have not been good. Bummer. Pusser’s is the rum that made me a rum guy, the old 15 year was at one time the best rum Id tasted.

Lot of vanilla spice. Very good sipping.

Smells of Cherry at a distance. Close up, brandy, heated sugar, a hint of cotton Candy, roasted coffee bean without coffe smell. Hint of rum raisin. Smooth, very light. Not as sweet as the smell hints. Pomerans? Short aftertaste.
