Rabbit Hole Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye

From my 2022 afvent calendar. Im enjoying it very much!

I will preface that Rabbit Hole is delicious. The initial smell gives off a spicy, earthy scent. Matched with caramel and allspice. The taste is what jumps out with flavorful smoke, earthy char and medium finish. Very good taste.

This whiskey is like the first time your grandma handed you a bowl of warm fruit cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It’s new, interesting, familiar, and comforting. Plums and cardimum on the nose. The palate is sweet and the finish is like hot raspberry sauce over vanilla ice cream.
