Nose of toffee, chocolate, and pine nuts with peaches and prunes. Palate is warm, spicy, a bit of rose, and somewhat dry but with leather and persistent burnt sugar notes like a nice aged rum. Finishes like caramel corn. A pretty solid bourbon.
Color - Texas sunset
Nose - cherries, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar
Palate - bold and creamy, very full, some spice, more vanilla, more sugar
Finish - spice, sugar, some wood towards the end
Thick bodied and full like a true Texan drink. That first sip hits hard but it’s worth it
