Ransom Whippersnapper

Tastes young. Hence the name.

Rich sweet barley aroma. Smells complex and aged. Sweet fruit at first, then builds into wood and some spice burn. Medium high richness, nice and creamy. It's got great balance, but a little mellow, with more kick it would be fantastic.

Rating: 8/23 The nose has a lot of rotting vegetal sulfuric quality. It doesn't smell good. The palate is less sulfuric, but it's still sulfuric for sure. There is a little bit of rich, sweet apple to balance it out, but that's about it. It's still a gross palate though. I'm looking down in the vicinity of Grant's for this rubbish. It's really unfun to drink. I think an 8 or 9 is most reasonable. I'm going with 8.
