Redbreast 12 Year Cask Strength

Batch B1/17 Oh yes, this is good. Nose is an explosion of honey, vanilla, butterscotch and cinnamon apples. Mouth feel is luxuriously soft and creamy. Palate is more cinnamon with brown sugar, toffee and spicy oak. Finish is long and warm, with some mouth-numbing pepper and just enough alcohol burn to make sure you remember this baby is cask strength. Dangerously leaves you wanting more.

The finest Irish whiskey I’ve ever encountered. This is liquid gold. Side by side with Redbreast 12 or 15 they don’t hold a candle to this masterpiece. So rich and so full. Everything I could ever want in a whiskey.

Great stuff with notes of toffee, berries, apricot, chocolate, pepper, and tropical fruit. Might be better than the 21.

Sweeter honey, vanilla, nutty aroma with an ethanol start so let it air out and add a few drops of water to mellow out and release the floral aromas. Great drink, even with the high ABV it is still a smooth drink.
