Redbreast 12 Year Cask Strength

N: sweet biscuits, buttery, hay, dried fruit P: butterscotch, baking spices, vanilla icing, coppery F: lots of oak, butterscotch Wow! Very complex and interesting from nose to finish. Bright and balanced. Long lasting, warm Irish hug finish. Will be keeping this one stocked at all times.

Bourbon and sherry come through well. Rich but still maintaining the delicacy expected from Irish whisky

B2/19 bottle kill. I like and appreciate this much more at the end of the bottle than I did at the beginning. It’s basically the regular 12 on steroids. It’s still too hot, a splash of water makes it just about right. Shortbread, biscuits, honey, berries, malt and spices. Yummy.
