Reviewed December 4, 2021 (edited December 20, 2021)I like this better than the 12yr. Nose: at first, a strong briny scent, with poached Bartlett pears and vanilla underneath. After a while, an oily, petroleum scent. Palate: pears and baking spices. Thick and chewy. A bit of caramel and vanilla. Finish: lingering. More brine in the back of the throat. Some alcohol burn, but not unpleasant.
