Tasting Notes
"The nose offers oak, vanilla and bit of a sugar cookie aroma. The whiskey is full and fairly complex with gentle char smoke, vanilla, caramel, malted cereal and oak. It finishes on the dry side with a bittersweet profile and a decent length on the finish. The American oak really is front and center here, but with a barley whiskey, it isn't super sweet. This is a gateway whiskey for those looking to either get into bourbon or for those looking to take a baby step outside of bourbon and want a complex Irish whiskey. "
