Nose: definite rye notes, sweet, toffee, vanilla, caramel
Taste: comes in sweet and smooth. Very balanced, definite rye notes, pine and toffee.
Finish is short but pleasant.
It’s very balanced between the rye and sweet flavors. Enjoying it a lot, looking to taste again.

Nose: sweet sweet peanut brittle. If I didn’t know any better I’d say this was a Russell’s pick.
Palate: some candied pecans, and some slightly bitter but pleasant barrel tannins, but I can’t seem to pull anything else out of it.
Finish: the finish outshines the palate, oak is definitely here along with big red gum and some cayenne in the back of the throat. Not what I expected from the nose so it was fun!

The nose is really nice with sweet Carmel and fruits. The pallet, however, is just not my jam. Bright strawberry and slight vanilla sweetness. And there is a note on the finish that I can’t quite put my finger on, but just feels a little disjointed. Definitely not worth the price tag.
