Series VIII is comprised of barrels aged between 10-17 years including: 9% 17 year-old bourbon (21% Rye), 24% 10 year-old bourbon (21% Rye), and 67% 10 year-old bourbon (36% Rye). It's bottled without chill-filtration at 101 proof.

Tasting Notes
"Hearty oak is front and center with rings of char smoke and dark toffee at the edges. Other scents found were baked apple, pastry dough and dried cherries. The body is average weight with a little slickness. It's got a spice and oak driven profile that's dry, but not too tight in the mouth. Flavor is bitter/bittersweet with some peanut shells at the end. There's a solid length to the finish. Another good value if you can get at suggested retail prices. "
