Pango derives its name from the mixture of pineapple and mango that gets blended with the aged rhum. There are also some unspecified spices added in, and the aging period, spent in French Limousin oak casks, is also unknown. As with Barbancourt's entire lineup, it's made from sugarcane juice and double distilled.
"This is a far cry from your average sweet-overkill Malibu or similarly flavored rums. It's not overly sweet, and at 35% ABV, there's far more actual true rhum character here, with a complex backing of spiciness and earthiness. The tropical fruit profile of pineapple and mango intermingles with notes of earthy cane juice and oak."
