Riazul Añejo Tequila

Excellent! Sweet and super smooth. Vanilla and caramel notes.

Rich and sweet, if you like that from your tequilas. I generally prefer brighter, more citrus-forward stuff, but this is still a tasty glass.

Strong notes of Vanilla and Caramel, minimal burn on the finish but still a bit of a bite. Solid.

Gold in appearance. The nose is much different than the other tequilas I've tried in that there is a very prominent sweetness to it. Almost like a bannana scent. There's very faint agave and black pepper notes as well. That sweet scent blends nicely with agave when sipped. Medium mouthfeel and a medium finish with some slight heat. Definitely a good sipper.

Beautiful aroma from the glass. Fruity and a bit of cinnamon and candy like. Taste is cinnamon and pepper. Slight fruits and sweetness. A nice sippn drink.

So I saw the high rating on this tequila and figured it was worth a try. I am very 50/50 on it. It makes an excellent tequila old-fashioned.
