The nose takes a minute to open up, but once it does you get a pleasant camp fire with roasted marshmallows, rye spices, cinnamon and a touch of brown butter. The palate is dry and rich with strong baking spices up front along with equally strong rye spices, with brown butter, oak and hints of mint, caramel and brown sugar. The finish is medium long with fading rye and baking spices, with brown butter, brown sugar and oak softly in the background.
