Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond

It was Whiskey Thursday which i was unaware so i ordered this Favorite followed by a beer i never tasted. It all went well with my delicious Cubano pulled pork with oickles sandwich 👍

Prettt good bib, great value for peoce. Get the rye notes not overpowering and well balanced

It is my opinion that this rye should be mixed with another liquid. I had to add a few drops of water to enjoy it.

Bought this on sale. Not especially spicy or smoky. Pretty mellow as ryes go, but it is easy to sip and works well in cocktails.

Spicy and smokey on first few sips, started to taste a little bit sweeter with some orange peel in there.
