Nose- Vanilla forward and a bit on the sweeter side. To me, smells no different than Blanton's. A tad of citrus and a hint of newer wood.
Palate- sweet caramel cream and vanilla. Representative of a cowtail or bullseye candy. Not as citrusy as Blanton's can be, but sweeter.
Finish- Short to medium finish. Kind of ho hum.
Overall- not necessarily worth the hype. It is just bourbon. Quality bourbon but really nothing to write home about.
Oh my, thats good. Really good! Not the best setting for taking notes, having it with dinner. But it’s obvious that it’s really well-made, super tasty. Next step in refinement for Buffalo Trace. I would really like to taste this when I can actually take notes.

Aroma- orange creamsicle for days. Slight hint of black pepper, rye spice and faint caramelized apples. Awesome nose
Taste - everything from the nose transfers to the palate. This is extremely soft on the palate. Finish is light to medium with caramel and hint of oak and a really nice strawberry and vanilla note.
Overall - not overly complex but at 100 proof, this one pack a punch of flavors
