Ron Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva Rum

This completely changed everything I thought about this spirit. With notes of honey, bourbon, citrus and vanilla in the nose, and a very sweet buttery and oaky taste, I just fell in love. For 40% ABV, it went down incredibly smooth. I give this a 5/5 but take into consideration that this is my first time trying aged rum.

Best rum for 50$ Nose: chocolate, toffees and i was found a coconut as in nose as in palate too. Palate: very soft and sweet, for someone taste can be look like as too "sugary", fruits, coconut. Finish: Vanilla, orange and cocoa. Rum is great. I was tasted Havana Club, Kraken and Diplomatico Mantuano, if we're taking rums at this price range as Reserva Exclusiva: Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva-the best choice between rums for 50$.

Great sipping rum

Molasses, honey, butterscotch and some piney bitterness make this a real treat. Definitely something to enjoy on its own and not mixed.

My go-to rum, every day of the week. Whilst some find the molasses content far too high, I find the rich, deep and versatile profile make this a rum you can turn to on any occasion - whether it’s sat pool side on ice or huddled inside neat by the fire. The only thing I’ve found better is the more aged and refined expressions such as the Ambassador.
