Royal Brackla 12 Year (Discontinued)

2022 Advent day 3, smooth

Had this open for about 12 months. Good legs. Amber color. Nose is sherry fruit. Maybe some citrus & cocoa. Ok nose. Taste is intense for 40%. Intense juicy Fruit upfront which quickly get a bitter oak mid palate. Finish is spicy & a bit sour. No smoke. I do like the complexity at 40%. It’s oaky for scotch. Score 84

Didn’t work for me. Poured it down the drain.

Salty, not so much smoke. Nice, but no complexity
