RumChata // Wisconsin, USA
RumChata is a liqueur made with Caribbean rum and dairy cream from Wisconsin. Cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar are also used. It is based on Horchata, a Latin American beverage made from rice, sugar, vanilla, and other spices.
Dairy/Egg LiqueursDairy liqueurs are often made with real milk or cream, but there are “dairy free” options made from almonds, rice, or other vegan options. Whiskey or rum are often used in the base. Egg liqueurs tend to use brandy and sugar in its creation.
"The aroma of cinnamon sugar comes is pleasant on the nose. Also, somehow rice milk comes through as well. The sweetness level is moderately full, but reasonable for the liqueur. Hard to detect the rum or the vanilla for that matter. Could stand to have a few more spiced notes, but overall, this is fine."
