Santa Teresa Claro is the latest release in the range, developed for the export market with a focus on its use in mixing cocktails. A blend of light and heavy rums, Claro is aged up to three years in ex-bourbon barrels (Venezuelan rum must be aged a minimum of two years). The aged rum has been carbon filtered to remove most of the color that it acquired from its time in American oak, resulting in a pale golden color.
Silver RumAKA Blanco, Light, White. Rum that is usually aged (but not always) and carbon-filtered to remove any color. No specific type or size barrel required. No set time required for aging for most countries with a few exceptions.
"The bright and fruity nose has pineapple and sugarcane, with subtle vanilla and vegetal notes. The buttery palate offers more tropical fruit, sugarcane and oak. The finish is short and sweet, with notes of apple, banana and a hint of white pepper."
