While the standard Sazerac Rye is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), this is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). Availability begins July 2025 at retailers, bars, and restaurants in US select markets and sold in 1L-sized bottles (SRP $29.

RyeRye produced in the US must be made of at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels (no age requirement). Elsewhere, it will be made according to the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is a mix of savory and sweet notes with toasted rye bread, caramel, and mild smoky oak notes. Cherry dominates the flavor on the palate with flavors leaning towards the bittersweet side. Whiskey feels soft on the midpalate. Nice bite to the finish. "
