RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Sweet vanilla hits you first followed by the spicy rye grain. Then what follows is a mix of fruit, particularly cherry and apples, along with leather book covers and wisps of smoke. The taste is tangy and warming. Wouldn't add any water or ice. The finish is more savory with fruit notes peeking in from time to time. The lasting note you're left with is a cinnamon stick. A solid whiskey to enjoy on a fall day."
