Light…lightest Islay I’ve tasted. Notes of pumpkin, light smoke, vanilla up front, smooth for the ABV, spices in the finish…almost tequila-like on the ending
The nose is huge, campfires, peat, burning railway ties, all of it. The palate is a bold rush of flavors, all that you expect from Islay, peat, smoke, some brine, some oiliness, and a hint of chocolate. And then it all disappears at the end, the finish is short, warm, spicy, with just a hint of lingering peat and saltwater brine.

Nose - briney smoke, but smells like burning wood with no noticeable phenols, some jammy sweetness
Palette - medium body, smokey first and wood ash, some richness and mild fruit sweetness, nicely balanced
Finish - smoked fruit and mild burn
