Shieldaig 18 Year Speyside Single Malt

A rich, Single Malt form Speyside, Scotland aged in oak barrels for at least 18 years. It has a rich birth with notes of pear drops, heather & stewed figs; a balanced life adds notes of citrus, barley, herbs & oak; that led to a long & spicy death. February / March 2019 / February / October 2020 / September 2022

Nose of vanilla, oak, flowers, oranges, young leather, apples, grass, herbs. Very smooth on the palate, with toasted caramel, vanilla, almonds, oak spice, white pepper. Medium sweet finish.
