Reviewed September 18, 2024 (edited October 23, 2024)Nose is deep and rich caramel with hints of molasses, nutty dark chocolate, slight coffee. Early corn / soil note on it too - almost comes out as a granola Palette is as rich as the nose. All this dark flavors from the nose, but with much more of a molasses sweetness. Moving into the finish there is a slight smokiness that rolls into kind of a woody off flavor on the finish…pretty minute though, just slightly over oaked. A nice heat comes in on the finish that rolls into a dark caramel finish that hangs. Very good overall, but I don’t thin up to the hype. T8ke: 7.490.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed September 3, 2024 (edited September 4, 2024)Incredible bottle. After hearing word of how good it was i found a bottle and its not just hype. I immediately went looking for a backup. A little sweet but complex flavors with maple and vanilla maybe some strawberry. Its hard to pin down but very good.135.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 22, 2024The hype is real!! Havent had George T Stagg, but i have had Stagg Jr at 130 proof. This burbon isn't as sweet, but it is very similar. Sweet, oatn strawberry, creamy, and tad nutty. At 130 proof i can not overstate how easy of a sipper this is! -

Reviewed August 15, 2024 (edited August 22, 2024)This is very good! It allegedly beat George T. Stagg in a blind tasting at the ASCOT awards this year. Luckily i have both and did a head to head. Not even close, this has a youthfullness on the back end that can’t be ignored. Its rich and sweet upfront with a kiss of corn and vanilla. Its worth the price tag.89.0 USD per BottleThe Seelbach Hilton Louisville -
