Famous Grouse Smoky Black

Not too bad. I had this neat and enjoyed the flavor much more than I expected. Seeing it was a peated whiskey had me worried (not a fan of peated whiskey), but this was mild and had a pleasant aftertaste. It still does not compare to my love of bourbon which is why it does not get a higher rating.

Disappointingly symbolic, but present peat turned the signature fruitiness into something briny, even musty. Sharp and unbalanced.

For the price it’s decent.
